| This March and April, the Douglas County Historical Society and Carlson Dock and Barge are teaming up to present Marsh Madness: The (Unofficial) Tournament of Lakes! | ||||||||
| Over the next four weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in this shore-to-shore showdown as 16 of our most iconic bodies of water ‘battle’ it out to finally (unofficially) determine which lake takes Douglas County’s top marks—AND THE COMPETITION HAS BEGUN! | ||||||||
| Starting today (Monday, March 16), the first round of competition has been posted on the DCHS and Carlson Dock Facebook pages, and you can cast your vote as we work from our Round of 16 all the way down to one final champion. | ||||||||

| TO VOTE, visit the DCHS and/or Carlson Dock & Barge Facebook pages and leave a comment with your vote for each match-up. (For example, comment, “Ida, Mary, Victoria, Geneva,” or “Lake Miltona and Lake Carlos,” etc.) Voting closes at 10:00 P.M. CDT tonight (Monday, March 16) and winners will be announced Friday as we work our way toward the grand finale! | ||||||||
