Choosing the right dock is about personal preference and answering a few key questions:
Will I be installing and removing it myself, or hiring a lake service provider?
Do I have space for a roll-in dock, or do I prefer stackable sections?
How far off shore do I need to be in 4–5 feet of water?
What’s my lake bottom like—firm, sandy, rocky, muddy, or soft?
There’s a lot to consider, but what truly matters is maximizing your time at the lake. We’ve been there—the dock needs to be in by fishing opener, but it has a flat tire. Heavy rain leaves it underwater. Nobody wants to replace decking on the 4th of July weekend. Confidence and reliability are key.
